Promotion of the agricultural sector in Tanzania

With average economic growth in the pre-Corona period of about 7 %, Tanzania is one of the most dynamic economies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Despite declining relative poverty rates, feeding the population nevertheless remains a major challenge.

One of the most important economic sectors in Tanzania is the agricultural sector, which employs about two-thirds of the population.
Almost 700,000 young people enter the labour market each year. Vocational Education is a big opportunity for these people to enter the labor market.

The implementation of dual vocational training and the qualitative upgrading of training as an "agromechanic" will contribute to improving the productivity and competitiveness of Tanzanian enterprises in the agricultural sector.
